THE WHOLE SHABLAMB
Taking orders now. LMK. Email me if interested. $900 and you get all the goods we cherish from a single slaughtered lamb. The meat, the hide, the skull, the fat (in soap form), and the horns (in stylish earring form). I could also throw in a bag of compost … but I’ll skip that. It was satisfying making this picture and package. Our soil, skills and animals made this. We want to share its beauty, comfort and nourishment with you!

SHEEP HORN EARRINGS
MORE COMING SOON! CHECK INSTAGRAM AND FB FOR NEW BATCHES
I’m sometimes asked why I have horned sheep. There’s so much that I love about Icelandic sheep. I appreciate the function of the horns - they are a cooling mechanism, they add protection. I also appreciate the story horns can tell. Horns can tell a story of the sheep and their health. Reading horns helps me be a better shepherd. These earrings remind me of the relationship between humans and livestock, and our responsibility to our farm animals. They are for sale at Third Branch Pottery in Randolph and the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival vtsheepandwoolfest.com I also post earrings for sale in batches frequently on Instagram @CANDOSHEARING.
